Opening up LALIGA’s first UK office was no small task, but Keegan Pierce, Director of International Relations, explains what makes working from a Fora space in King’s Cross so extraordinary.

LALIGA may be the second richest football division in the world, but their commitments to supporting young players from all walks of life is central to their mission in the UK. “The opportunity to open the doors to players of all backgrounds makes us very excited to be in London”, explains Keegan Pierce, Director of International Relations and Fora member at Gridiron Building in King’s Cross.

Through a multi-year partnership with Bloomsbury Football, a grassroots charity who reach over 5,000 young people per week, LALIGA provide kits and equipment, and support a youth league in central London to empower young people to experience the beautiful game.

Founded in 1929, LALIGA has seen some of the brightest football stars come through their clubs, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and are well-known for some of the best games in history. Headquarter in Madrid, Spain and with offices across the world including in the USA, China, India and Singapore, London is LALIGA’s 11th and most recent global home.
